Mobile Poker apps
With no poker apps available from any of the major poker sites we are left with some play money games such as Zynga Poker Live, World Poker Tour Hold’em and Texas Hold’em by Apple as the three best apps for playing poker. There is also a multitude of apps to help you play poker including apps to help you with your cash game at home or your poker strategy or even find you the nearest card room.
The World Series of Poker Legend game for the iPhone allows poker players to play for fun and try and go from small stakes poker player all the way up to win the World Series of Poker Main Event all from your phone. The graphics are slick the AI is greatly improved from many other games available and the gameplay is surprisingly fast compared to other games as well. With the backing of the World Series of Poker this is an excellent app if you don’t mind playing against a software program!
Another great poker app for those that play home games is the Home Game app which allos you to input what your starting blind levels are and what the blind intervals are and it will remind you whenever it’s time to put the blinds up and even get antes in. If you’re like us and always forgetting to put blinds up this is a great app for use at home that means you don’t need an alarm clock or stop watch!
The Poker Radar for the iPhone lets you look up the nearest poker card rooms to wherever you are and tells you all you need to know about that room. It has a database of over 2,000 card room locations so if there’s a card room near you the Poker Radar app will find it. With details such as daily tournaments, news and events as well as contact details for the room you will always know what’s going on wherever you are.
